Data Pipeline

print page   |   email page

The data pipeline of the HeliScope™ Single Molecule Sequencer is designed for openness and flexibility. Data is available for export at several points during the production process.

Images, the object table, and sequence, trace and quality data are output in non-proprietary formats, either through the HeliScope Web Interface or HeliScope Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). We also use the HeliScope APIs in our internal development, ensuring quality of performance and timely maintenance.

Data Pipeline graphic depicts relationship. Sequencing Engine feeds into Image Analysis which feeds into both Gobject Tables and Sequences, Trace Date and Quality Scores. These come back together into one feed into Local Storage. Local storage feeds into Data Repository which in turn feeds into Analysis applications. Data repository and data applications have an open feed back and forth to each other. Local Storage also feeds into Alignment Engine (also fed by Reference Genomes) which goes to Consensus Alignment. Consensus alignment goes to the Data repository.
