Helicos has recently launched a sequencing services program that allows scientists to access the revolutionary Helicos single molecule DNA, cDNA and direct RNA sequencing technologies. Helicos True Single Molecule Sequencing (tSMSTM) and Direct RNA Sequencing (DRSTM) technologies provides a direct measurement of billions of individual RNA/DNA molecules with high accuracy, simplicity, and scale. Our technologies require no amplification, ligation, cDNA synthesis (for Direct RNA Sequencing) or other complex sample manipulation, and eliminate the biases associated with amplification-based sequencing techniques. Our mission is to eliminate bottlenecks, to improve productivity as well as to continue the discovery of new and novel research and development findings in an affordable manner.
